About the Owner – Wendy Louise Sankey

Wendy started her administrative and bookkeeping business in February of 2015.  Wendy is easy to work with, trustworthy, reliable, honest, competent with a strong attention to detail.  She completed several accounting and computer courses at Douglas College in 2007.

Wendy began her administrative career in 1989 by working for the Federal Government while completing her Master’s degree.  As a single parent she purchased “Lady Lorraine Designs” in 2000, a home based mail order business to stay home and raise her daughter.   Her bookkeeping career began with the purchase of this business and strengthened her administrative abilities.  From here she was hired as an Administrative Assistant and Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk for a lumber mill where she worked for 5 years before starting Lady Lorraine Administrative & Bookkeeping Services to do what she loves most ~ working for herself, schedule flexibility, variety in work, and working with others businesses.

She volunteered as Secretary/Treasurer for the Port Coquitlam Heritage Society for several years and Woodridge Strata Council for one fiscal year.

Wendy graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Home Economics specializing in clothing and textiles in 1985 followed by a Master’s of Education ~ Adult Education in 1992 from the University of British Columbia.
